RIVIAM app: how do you know if you are offline?

If you are working offline, you will see a red bar at the top of the screen. If you received your clinic, you can work offline as long as you make sure your team is aware of the fact that they won't see your outcomes. If there is no internet connectivity, you can continue to use RIVIAM’s Immunisations Mobile application, and messages will queue up, ready to be sent to RIVIAM’s Cloud service when you do have network connectivity.

However, it’s really important that in this situation you check with each child being immunised that they have not already received the vaccination at the clinic. It is possible that during a clinic, a child will present themselves again (possibly to a different member of staff) and receive the same vaccination for a second time. Directly asking the child will prevent any potential risks of double vaccinations.

Your team lead at the office can also keep track of mobile outcomes. Please visit our guide on “Monitoring Mobile Clinic Outcomes”.

After the session, make sure you get a connection to the Internet so the messages can go through. We recommend, in this case, also checking the school stats inside the school, under "Vaccination Status", and checking if your numbers match the ones on the workflow.
