RIVIAM app: how to turn the "Debug" mode on

If, for any reason, you are experiencing technical issues with the RIVIAM App, we recommend that users turn the "Debug" mode on and check the error messages. With this information, users can contact support.

  1. Go to "Settings"

  2. Toggle the "Debug" mode on, as seen in this screenshot.

    Image: Debug mode button.

  3. Touch the "Debug mode" (click on the bug icon or the Debug word)

  4. A new page will open, similar to the example below:

Image: Debug mode error messages example. Please send this info to support.

  5. Click on the word that says "Error" at the top of the page. This will expand the type of errors. In this example, there are (2) errors.
  6. In the example of the screenshot above, the two errors are "timeout 10000ms exceeded".
  7. With this information, you can contact the RIVIAM support desk, telling us what you are experiencing, if it is just you or somebody else in your team and the errors listed in debug mode. We will, from then, be able to help and guide you on how to resolve this issue.
Some of the common error messages we receive are:
  1. 403 error
  2. Timeout
