What happens if a child refuses their vaccination on the clinic day?
Their record should be marked as not vaccinated with a reason code of ‘child refused’.
The parent or guardian will receive a missed vaccination email informing them that the child was not vaccinated at school and can invite the parent to book the child into a community clinic if appropriate.
When the clinic is regenerated for a second visit to that school, the child's name will reappear if they have not been booked in to attend a clinic.
