What happens if a child turns up who doesn’t have a consent form on the system?
The clinic staff can create a consent form for the child by talking with the adult who has parental responsibility. They can use the eConsent link to create new consent into RIVIAM Web, perform any triage and can vaccinate them, as appropriate. This outcome can be recorded directly into RIVIAM Web using Update vaccination status.
If a new consent is submitted on the day of the clinic, the consent will be sent to the mobile clinic list to update.
Also, if Gillick competent, nurses can fill in a Gillick form using the RIVIAM app and record the outcome. Please check our Gillick consent guides.
