Where to find consents needing triage

Where to find consents needing triage

There are two views clinicians can use to determine which consents received need to be triaged.
  • By programme across all schools

  • By individual school or clinic

1. By programme across all schools

To view consents received across all schools and what the triage queues are, you start by going to the Referrals page dashboard:

Image: Referrals tab

From here, you click on the Red/Amber/Green (RAG) chart for a specific programme, which takes you to a view of the various triage queues for that programme.

Here you can see the number of consents currently in that triage queue. If you click on a particular triage category (as indicated in the above diagram) a list of consents currently in that queue will be displayed.

To access an individual consent, select the referral number you would like to open.

2. By individual school or clinic

To view the consents received by the school, select the immunisations page, then select the school.

Here, you click on the programme of interest, which takes you to the clinics within that programme.

Then you click on the specific clinic, and in the Consents Received tab, if you search on “triage”, you see which patients need what type of triage:

  1. Similar consents in RIVIAM Web

In RIVIAM Web, similar consents will be flagged in the consents received list. A similar consent will be marked with a new symbol in the Flags column.
The symbol depicts two people, highlighting that there are two consents in this school with similar demographics that you need to review.

The
similar child symbol will be positioned next to other relevant symbols, such as the Flu nasal/ Flu IM symbol or the booking symbol.

The Show filters function also now offers a new option to filter on the new ‘Similar child’ flag.

If you wish to filter consents to display those marked as similar, simply select 'yes' from the drop-down menu and then click 'Apply.'

If you see two consents for the same child and do not want both consents to appear in the mobile clinic lists, we recommend that the user change the consent status of the unwanted consent to declined out of cohort.

The new similar child symbol will also appear on the mobile app.
