Running Clinics where you are vaccinating with multiple variants/manufacturers (Nasal vs Injectable)
For a clinic where you want to give both injectable and nasal vaccines, you have to set things up specifically, to support this operating mode.
This is because the spreadsheet and iPad app do not currently support multiple Immunisation types in a single clinic.
If you want to hold a catch-up clinic at location X, on a specific date, for injectable and nasal vaccines, you should ask for the following clinic locations to be set up a) Clinic A <Date> Injectable b) Clinic B <Date> Nasal Spray
For school children who missed the vaccination the first time around, you can move them from their original school to the appropriate clinic. When they are outcomed they need to be moved back to their original school (for reporting purposes).
Note that the RIVIAM eConsent form is only set up for nasal vaccines and should not be used for inactivated/injectable flu vaccines.
We recommend that you follow the guidelines for injectables (declined due to porcine content) as described in earlier Articles:
At each clinic instance, you would be dealing EITHER with nasal OR injectable vaccinations, so a given iPad would be dealing with one or the other but not both.
