If the person or contact is unknown to the user, the user should use the Contact page to begin the referral process.
There are three ways you can use the Contact page:
- Step 1 - Search for a contact – the first step is to find a contact in RIVIAM. If there is a contact, then you can review a list of related referrals for this Contact.
- Step 2 - Search for a person – if you cannot find a contact, the next step is to search for the person who is receiving the care instead.
- Step 3 - Create a new referral – if there is no existing contact or person in RIVIAM, complete a form to create a new referral. This will capture and create the person and contact details.
