Follow these steps to log in to the RIVIAM Immunisations Mobile Application:
Open your device
Enter Touch ID to authenticate your device in case you are using an iPad and enter your password.
To note: If you touch Cancel by mistake, please close and re-open the app and return to the beginning.
Open the RIVIAM app, and the login page will load as seen below:
To activate your account
If you are using a device you have not used before or deleted and reinstalled the RIVIAM app, you need to activate your account to access your clinics.
Please note activation codes are only valid for up to 12 hours from when they were requested.
If you received an activation code by email or SMS and it's still valid, you can continue to activate using this code. Select "activate a user".
Enter your email address and mobile number. Then, select "Request a code":
A 'Sent activation code' message will appear.
RIVIAM will send you an SMS and an email containing an activation code.
It is not possible to gain access to the app if you have not already been added to RIVIAM. Each user needs to have a named account for audit purposes and that account information mustn’t be shared. |
Receive an SMS or email
You will receive a RIVIAM activation by SMS or by email.
Fill in your first name and last name, then click 'Next':
Fill in your activation code, email address and password.
Now on the activation page, enter the activation code, and your email address and set a password. Click 'Activate'.
You must enter a password that you can remember and is only known by you. RIVIAM will ask you to provide your email address and password each time you log in.

Log in to the Immunisations Mobile Application.
Once your RIVIAM account is activated and your password is set, you can then log in by entering your
- Email address.
- Password.
Enabling location
RIVIAM uses the location of the device to ensure that information about patients is only accessible within the UK. Each time your location changes, the mobile app updates RIVIAM with the current location of the app. You can control if the app shares location when prompted on the iPad as follows:
Select ‘Allow While Using App’ to save your login credentials on the mobile app.
Please note, that this data will only be shared with RIVIAM Cloud securely for the application and supporting the delivery of the immunisations service. Please refer to your information-sharing policy.
