Patients page
If you want to find individual referrals or search for a patient using the referral number, you can use the "Patients" or "Referrals" page.
On the Patients page, you can search by name or NHS number; if a result is found, you will be taken to the single-patient view. This page will display all of the referrals that have been submitted for that person.
Referrals page
The Referrals page can be used to look up a patient using the consent reference number.
This page can also be used to see where consents have been routed to different triage queues for that immunisations programme.
For example, a user can access a list of consents that have been routed to
- Ready
- Demographic check
- DOB triage
- Relationship triage
- Triage of consents ( yes responses to health questions)
- Clinically declined
- Declined out of cohort
- Parent declined consent
Above is a screenshot of a pathway for DTP and Men ACWY showing the different triage steps and queues.
Accessing an individual referral from the lists.
Select a name and referral number that you wish to view, and this will open a new page with the details of that consent.
Once opened, the left-hand navigation menu is useful for moving between areas and functions.
In this example, from a flu program, you can click on “Kings Oak Academy” on the left-hand navigation menu to get back to a school-level view and choose another patient record from the same school to view.
From the left-hand menu, you can access further patient information by selecting Referral details or the referral document PDF for this patient.
