When new users are set up on RIVIAM, they will automatically receive an activation code at the email address provided.
If you haven’t received this email, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still haven't received the activation code, please contact support@riviam.zendesk.com.
Please note: Activation codes are valid for up to 12 hours. If the account hasn't been activated within this time, the user should request a new code by using the 'Forgotten password' link under the 'Login' button. For instructions about this, please visit this guide (opens a new window). |
Activate your RIVIAM account
Your team lead should provide you with the correct link to access RIVIAM Web.
Open the login page.
To activate the account, users should click on the link under the 'Login' button 'Activate user' or 'Activate a new code':

You will then need to enter the details listed below and click “Activate” Please type in the details and remove any prefilling to ensure you enter the correct information.
- Email address
- Activation code (from the activation email)
- Mobile number

If you are experiencing difficulties, this may be caching, so try an Incognito/InPrivate window in your browser.
The next page will allow you to set a password. Add a password of choice and then complete the set-up. This will take you back to the login page.
Login to RIVIAM
Once your RIVIAM account is activated and your password is set, you can then login by entering:
- Username/email address
- Password
If you save passwords, please ensure this is updated.
For some customers accessing RIVIAM, a Two-factor authentication code will be required. This will be sent by SMS to the mobile number you provided. Please enter this code and login.
Please note: The two-factor authentication code is valid for up to 8 hours. If you need to log in again within this time, please use the same code.
Gaining access to different functions in RIVIAM
RIVIAM manages access to RIVIAM functions by using role-based access. Each action taken by a user is controlled by what group they have assigned to their role. Role assignment is performed by your RIVIAM administrator or by RIVIAM.
